Because the board got shutdown again because of a load of database, I had to fettle with the settings again.
As part of that, the server no longer stores what topics you have or haven't read.
IT IS STILL RECORDED!
But now, that information lives in a delicious cookie, rather than the forum database.

Upside: this should reduce the load of database.
Downside: if you use multiple devices to access the board, or you reject delicious cookies, you won't always have that information cookie. But the New Posts feature should take care of that.

If you cannot Debauch because you get an IP blacklist error, try Debauching again time. It may work immediately, it may take a few attempts. It will work eventually, I don't think I had to click debauch more than three times. Someone is overzealous at our hosting company, but only on the first couple of attempts.

You know the email (if you don't, see in the registration info below), you know where to find the Administerrerrerr on the Midget Circus.

Some unpleasant miscreant was firing incessant database queries at our server, which forced the Legal Department of our hosting company, via their Abuse subdivision, to shut us down. No I have none.
All I can do it button the hatches, and tighten up a few things. Such as time limits on how long you may take to compose a post and hit Debauch! As of 24/01/10, I've set that at 30 minutes for now.

To restrict further overloads, any unregistered users had to be locked out.
How do we know who is or isn't an unregistered user?
By forcing anyone who wants in to Log In.
Is that annoying?
Yes. But there's only so much the Administerrerrerr can do to keep this place running.

Again, if you have any problems: get in touch.

Can you get your money back after discovering that Zed and the Gimp are downstairs working over Marcellis?

I feel for the guy, but, I don't know if he has a chance.

I'm pretty sure the seller is only responsible for disclosing everything that has to do with the property they are selling, not adjacent properties. :/ Is it different in condos than detached units? I'd reckon the rest is on the buyer to research, just like crime statistics, police complaints, etc for the property.

If the neighbor was so forward about it, its a shame he wasn't able to be so before they closed/offered. :(

Or maybe he closes, then sics the HOA on the noisy neighbor?

Pretending to have noisy sex got this woman arrested. There may also be other aspects to this story.

Well, you can imagine, if this were an ugly custody dispute, just how frightening these circumstances would be to the father. Mother wants more custody and demonstrates to the court how her son is living above Zed as he beats and bangs Marcellis.

Additionally, you can imagine how difficult it would be to drop $621,000 on a condo that you can't really live in. Frankly, I'd move into the kids room and be on the horn to the cops every fucking time I heard Mr. Gimp beg for mercy. Sooner or later, the embarrassment of the cops showing up at the door may dissuade the arrival of the Village People and they could take it to a more suitable venue, such as the many fetish clubs this lovely town provides. (They also rent private dungeons in commercial districts for these specialty activities).

Furthermore, I'd spend an awful lot of time on my front porch cleaning a newly acquired, large caliber, gun collection. Yes, I'd be wearing grease soaked overalls and a Confederate Flag bandana whilst listening to Lynrd Skynrd on a boom box. Given what I know about attitudes towards firearms in this town (not a gun shop in all of San Francisco proper - no bullets, no targets, no nutt'n), there aren't going to be a lot of participants willing to repeat their visits after viewing the hillbilly nutjob that lives upstairs. Indeed, two can play at that game.

Legally, it's up to the NOISE MAKER to install sufficient sound suppression equipment so as not to disturb the other occupants of the building (implied covenant of quiet enjoyment). Seriously, I'm with the new owner in that I don't really give a fuck what my neighbor does in his own home so long as he keeps it there.... including the noise, screams, cries, begging or beating sounds that go along with it. Tall fences (and soundproofing) make good neighbors.
