, and we start doing little clutch drills, rocking back and forth, "power walking" etc. All fun stuff. After a little while George, the "rider coach" comes over to me and says "What are you doing here?"
So we started chatting, I told him that it's faster to take the class than to wait through the DMV appointment system for a riding test, and that everyone I've ever talked to has learned something. George is a cool guy, he said something about how he had to take the class so he could be an instructor. So I started asking what it takes to be one of their coaches. Well it just so happens that they are in need of a couple people, and that once I get through the class he highly recommended that I talk to his boss and apply!
I'm stoked! I walk into the class, and maybe walk out with an awesome job! It's perfect for my student lifestyle at just a few days a month, and it would pay more hourly than any job I've ever had. Plus it would be my first moto industry type job. Fingers are firmly crossed!
