Because the board got shutdown again because of a load of database, I had to fettle with the settings again.
As part of that,
the server no longer stores what topics you have or haven't read.

Upside: this should reduce the load of database.
Downside: if you use multiple devices to access the board, or you reject delicious cookies, you won't always have that information cookie. But the

From Wikipedia:
I didn't know about this, and I really WANT to be excited. Like, REALLY excited.
It was announced by George Miller on 24 October 2009, that filming of Fury Road would commence at Broken Hill in New South Wales in late 2010, ending years of speculation. This announcement attracted widespread media attention in Australia, with the popular speculation at that time on whether Mel Gibson would return as Max, even though this had previously been considered unlikely.
On 29 October 2009, it was announced that British actor Tom Hardy was in negotiations to take the lead role of Max, and Charlize Theron will also play a lead role. The plot will be set shortly after the events of Beyond Thunderdome.
Nicholas Hoult has joined the cast. Zoe Kravitz, Adelaide Clemens, and Teresa Palmerare also in talks to join.

She was damned good in Monster.
That movie falls into the category of "One of the best movies I never, ever want to see again."
Seriously great film. Seriously emotionally disturbing.
"Dogville" was the same way, but an even better film. It starred Nicole Kidman, who's another one I really wouldn't expect a fucking astounding film from.

I am sorry, I found her annoyingly caricatural in monster and thought that her acting lacked even the tiniest form of subtitle, especially compared to C. Ricci, but that's just my opinion of course.

Since you're in Belgium, maybe you should try watching it with the subtitles turned on.
BADUMP CHINK!!! HEYYYY!!!!!
Seriously, though...
Fair enough.
I would say I'd watch it again to see what you were saying, but I never want to see that movie again.
From what I remember, it was a very physical role, of a very blunt character. In that respect, she seemed to pull it off. Again, though, this is from what I remember of the movie, and I haven't seen it in something like six years.

So at the end of Thunderdome, the children re-established a city , established a verbal folklore-based education system and put society back on solid ground again, yes? Its been a while since I saw that film. Moving THAT theme forward, will this be Max working with a police force again, or just wander off into the desert to fight an offshoot of the gang from MM2? In other words just an excuse to bang together some funky vehicles and blow shit up?

For that matter maybe they'll have Agent Smith and General Zod reprise their drag queen roles from Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and Max can team up with them for some zany adventures. Or they can just leave the franchise alone and come up with something new.

I wonder...will they go for "historical accuracy" with cars and bikes from the 70s or earlier, or will they go further in the direction of cobbled together vehicles like Lord Humungus' thingamabob?
Or, god forbid...will they "retcon" the timeline and introduce Mad Maxed modern vehicles? Watercooled Z1000s? On shudders to think...

I'm sure it will more Thunderdome style but if there is anything recognizable theres no reason to limit themselve to the 70's. Mad Max takes place "a few years from now" doesn't it? And the timeline makes absolutely no sense anyway.

Looking at their linked source material, I think they're just wrong about that. What that says is "It is rumoured Australian Sam Worthington and South African actress Charlize Theron could be cast." Later that month
Variety reported that she had been signed for a role. Sorry, Charlize-haters.

Here's one that's more recent:
Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy are starring in the pic. The movie will be an Australian production, shooting Down Under this summer. Warner Bros. will distribute.
Nicholas Hoult hits 'Fury Road' with Kravitz, Palmer, Clemens The Hollywood Reporter, January 27, 2010
I don't know if that's definitive though.
