Because the board got shutdown again because of a load of database, I had to fettle with the settings again.
As part of that, the server no longer stores what topics you have or haven't read.
IT IS STILL RECORDED!
But now, that information lives in a delicious cookie, rather than the forum database.

Upside: this should reduce the load of database.
Downside: if you use multiple devices to access the board, or you reject delicious cookies, you won't always have that information cookie. But the New Posts feature should take care of that.

I have to say, I had high hopes for this and it was better than I expected! The comics get very brutal (living on living violence), I wonder how they'll handle that. I really liked how the zombies kind of "went to sleep" if there was a lack of stimulation
and how some kept a tiny sliver of their past life.

Now, I hope AMC plays the episodes online so I can keep up since we don't have cable.

I got through the first ep distracted and couldn't really get into it, it seems pretty good, but I think I'm just bored of zombies.

In the comics, the "walkers" move more to the background of the story. Things get very, very brutal in the comics and I wonder how they'll pull it off....

I've read a few places that said they were only going to show the first episode online. The rest will be through itunes etc. I'm sure they'll be available through some sort file sharing services.

Good! I really liked the show but it's been sliding down hill. I'm worried they're gonna jump the shark with this CDC storyline. They should have stuck with the comics.
