As part of that, the server no longer stores what topics you have or haven't read.
IT IS STILL RECORDED!

Upside: this should reduce the load of database.
Downside: if you use multiple devices to access the board, or you reject delicious cookies, you won't always have that information cookie. But the New Posts feature should take care of that.

What a fucked up night. Middle child flew in to town on an overnight layover but she stayed at a hotel near the airport so not to miss her early flight. Nevertheless we took her out to dinner knowing that A. there was a storm blowing in, B. we had inadvertently gotten the wrong dog food for our two dogs, and C. our female doesn't like storms and was also sick from the food change. Well after a pleasant meal with our child the wife and I drive home through a tremendous storm to discover that our female has gotten through a locked dog door and escaped into the neighborhood. So dear o,d dad saddles up in the 4Runner and before I get to the end of the driveway here she comes soaking ass wet and scared to death. Man what a fucked up night that could have been.

Grumbling.
A while ago, I purchased a "bottom feeder" atomizer. Quite by accident.
Those are not new, but I never got into those. It's really just like any other RDA, a rebuildable dripping atomizer, except with a hole in the bottom. Instead of meddling about with a bottle and dripping liquid in from the top, the liquid is supplied via squeeze-bottle from below.
This would require a special mod, though, and those only ever have a single battery, most are mech, very few are variable wattage, but always with low-power.
Not sufficient for my vaping needs, no.

This new atomizer though, I had expected to receive a tank. I was befuddled when I got what sure looked like a dripper-atomizer just screwed to a tank, with no evident way for the liquid to work it's way to the coil.
Within days, though, it had become on of my favorite atomizers. It would make clouds like an RDA, if a small RDA, but when it was dry, I'd only squeeze the bottle. Fresh liquid gets into the vaporizing chamber through the wiring-holes. No hassle! Well, I did manage to break that fancy glass bit, but I had a cap from another atty that fit nicely.
The idea of the little tank bit that goes between the actual RDA and the mod was brilliant, I thought. No need for a special bottom-dripper mod!
This one wouldn't fit any other RDA's except the one it shipped with, so I started researching. The idea was so obvious, somebody must be selling a ready-made solution with the standard 510 connector.
Nope, nothing to be found. Nowhere.
Eventually, I relented. I'd have to build my own. I could buy bottom-feeder connectors from a modder supplier, I had an old atomizer base that I could attach other things to. My plan was to build this, from plumbing supplies. It wouldn't be pretty, it probably would NOT work very well, or very long, but I had a mission. I ordered the bottom feeder connectors on ebay and, had I not forgotten to take those along when I set off to visit my parents today, I'd have gone to the hardware store for those plumbing bits.

Except, I did forget. So, bored, I just did some googling.
And found not one, but TWO different devices that do just what I want! One, apparently, isn't even in production anymore?!
Ah, well. Even now, I will wouldn't brake the fiscal limit I had set myself for my own design.
Just fired an email to Slovenia where they make the Hypersquonk. Slightly excited!

The whole assembly does, yes. But only a male 510 at the bottom, I can't put a different bottom-feeder RDA on top of the tank. See here.
The bottome feeding with this one does not happen through the 510 connector. It only uses the 510 for it's regular, electrifying purpose.
The thing they make in Slovenia basically fulfills the function of the whole lower bit of this atomizer, but with a female 510 bottom-feeding connector at the top, and a boring male 510 at the bottom (yes, I know that sounds naughty. It's supposed to :P ).
That way, I can use my lovely 160W xCube II with temperature control for stainless steel wire while also bottom feeding an atomizer.
That way, I can walk down the street, unobserved and unnoticed, shrouded in a fog of my own making. And still have a hand free to fiddle with my phone

My son just picked this one up about a week or so ago. It is a post less RDA called the Evil Monk. Saturday he got a spacer as the atty is rather short. The low height of the atty made it difficult to make verticle coils over the airholes and still have enough resistance to woek on his ileaf 100w mod.

It produces goot vape, with excellent flavor btw.

What am I doing?
Two things.
1) I ordered some stuff from an online pharmacy, which is loads cheaper than bricks-and-mortar for the non-prescription stuff the insurance won't pay. Apparently, I ordered too much nasal spray, they don't want my money.
So I gave them the reader's digest version of what has been happening to me in the last four years. Just to see what would happen, will they cut off the cripple?
2) Considering to start a vapist's thread. But deciding, nah, can't be bothered right now.

Also, I've heard good things about the Evil Monk, but I don't think it's for me. Puffing on my Swirlfish right now, waiting for my bottom-feeder extension, hoping that someone will come up with an affordable alternative to the Genuis², soon (think a good sized dripper, like a Mutation. Yeah, clouds that big. ON A TANK.)

Slightly out of sorts on account of an entirely justified application of painkillers.
Spent most of the day standing in line or shuffling through a crowd.
Wrote up a word or 1866 about that.
Like I said, a bit out of sorts.
SO, what I actually did, was start up a new thread for us vapists. Elsewhere in the grinder, obviously.

-Rench
Oh yeah, Monday.
The day will begin late for me, for before work I must go to my GP's office to pick up the lab-work I need to get an MRI on Tuesday. They want my kidney stuff before they let me drink the contrast-stuff.

Just went shopping. Bought some liquid bottle at the vaper's expo today, but those are really just for emergencies. My favorite liquid-storage bottles, they are only to be had online. Sold for a surprisingly realistic price (€0.40 per high-quality squeezable plastic bottle rather than €1.10 or crap like that). Who won't accept Paypal, require me to basically re-code the original tablets of Hamurrhabi in base-10 if I want to pay by credit-card, so I pay by money order instead. But still, worth buying there, not just for the deal. But because someone is retailing a product to a specialist customer base, all end-consumers, but charges a reasonable retail price, rather than an artificially inflated one. This we must support!
Also, I'm stoned, and I just ordered a whole new bunch of aromas while enjoying switching between Coffee and Vanilla liquid on my left, and the all new "Bang Bang" buttermilk and lemon on my right.
Further ranting to be found in "Coming up a cloud"

Collating all sorts of medical expert's opinions and doctor's reports to put together a new file as part of an ongoing effort to find a new lawyer.
Suffering a MOTHERFinagleR of a headache. Probably (or not), like my centralized dizzyness, due to a "respectable" sinusitis. Which it took my neurologist to find, after sending me into the MRI to find neurological causes. I think he might have been a bit relieved to find that sinusitis being the only visible change to the last round of MRIs. He's honestly running out of stuff to treat me with - if it works, I'll usually get severe side effects, also (headache gone - hands swelling up like boxing gloves ... headache gone, go RUN - DO NOT WALK to the urologist ...). I think if I asked for it, I could get a prescription for unicorn.

FUCK I WANT TO BE IN PENNSYLVANIA!!!

After the usual wake-up-with-headcold, hit the head, PANIC! UROLOGIST!!, have a Starbucks, I went to see my new ears, nose and throat guy today. On account of the last one being a demented surgery-geek who only wants to CUT CUT CUT; and the one before that not having made a very competent show in dealing with MRSA.

As it turns out, the new guy is an analog cyclist, used to work in the paraplegic ward, and unlike many many other doctors had some sympathy for someone who got fucked by a cager.
He also informed me that, actually, I don't just have a deviated septum.
My septum first goes one way, then changes direction and goes the other - an s-curve, a chicane. I literally breathe twisties. That explains a lot, don't it.
